65 SALES! - It's going to be a great year, with 65 sites in neighborhoods all around the community! This is the final list for 2009 updated on 9/24. If you cannot open this map, you can visit Edward Jones, Mail'n'More or many other local businesses to get a copy of the printed version. Please note, we have 5 or 6 more locations included here on this list, that were not included on the printed maps.

Why Participate in the Sale?
EASY - We've done half of the work for you!ADS - Coordinated advertising in local newspapers.
MAP - A map showing participating locations will be published on this website.
FLYERS - 1000 Maps/Flyers will be distributed to local businesses and community locations.
LIST - A listing of participants by address and catagories of items for sale will be published on the web site. Thus individuals and families wishing to purchase your items can come to just the Garage Sales with the types of items of interest to them.
Advertizing for 2009
One of our lessons from the first year was that advertizing was insufficent, and we made the mistake of competing with the Warrensburg massive garage sale. Well, this has been fixed. Your $5 registration gets you a $300 Advertising budget, and the following advertizing:$50 Run Paid Ad(s) Gazette; The Weekly; Spotlight; Craigslist; Community News (planned press release); School Newsletter Insert if possible; and $50 for other paid Advertising (Community News, More Gazette, etc.) $200 for Postage Mailing Distribution (2 Mass distribution routes in 12027.BH-BL BPA: The Garage Sale Mission
Our intent is to bring people to the community in the early autumn when the trees are turning, the cider is fresh, and the community looks simply beautiful. Besides, we all want to get rid of stuff before we have to store it for the winter! When you are done garage saling and need a break, drop by our businesses notable for their fall season charms - Ellms' Corn Maze, Fo'Castle Farm, Knights Orchards, and LakeSide Farms, Charlton General Store and others. Designer Interiors of Ballston will be selling a selection of Home design articles and Accessories. All proceeds to benefit a local Not-for-Profit organization in our community: CHS. Community Human Services helps children and families throughout our community ans is a member of the BHBL BPA. Designer Interiors is located across the street from Stewarts on Rt 50 in Burnt Hils .
